This blog is basically to chart my progress in trying to lose weight...

This is a Record of my daily events including my family when appropriate for my other family members to see if they choose to.

This is my legacy, for my family to read after I am dead and burried. So, any thing on here is meant for them only and if it offends anyone, my apologies, but, its not meant for you and them

Chow for now...

May the LORD Bless all who see this.

I wish you well...

Anniversary

Posted 07-02-2013 at 06:00 PM by woodworkingmenace

My Wife and I celebrated our 34th Wedding Anniversary last week!

We went to Eat n Park, since the Steak House right next door, the line was down around the building, sheesh. The meal was the worst we both have ever had at any resturant... What a shame. Still left a good tip for the guy who waited on us, because the service was the best thing that night LOL...

We went to the Dari Owl after that, for ice cream. (Yea, still had room for it, since the meal sucked).

Afterwards, we went to the movie to see Superman. It was the best Superman Movie I have ever seen. Though, it was a bit boring in the beginning, it picked up and took off, and was a smashing success to my Wife and me!

We went and saw the fireworks the next day, and met friends, while we were there.
Its been about 20 years or more, since I went to a fireworks display, and I enjoyed myself immensly!

We have been working on my Son's room for over two weeks now.
Concrete and flooring is down now, but, we tore out the walls because the termite damage was present on the outside of one wall. Good thing too, since we found out a lot of damage under the wood, and, we found out that the rats that managed to get into the wall, tore out all the insulation in the walls on one side! They even ate the insulation off the wiring in the room, so, now I have to reroute the wiring and cut that part out, then have my Brother in law, insulate the walls and dry wall the room.

(My Son and I ripped all the wooden planks off the walls, and he had to go to the Chiropractor, because he threw his back out!
He was fixed up good after the one visit).

Hopefully, this will only last another week, and my Son can get back into his room again.

Tuesday:
We took my Daughter to get another car today. I will find out how she is going to do as a 'grownup' now, since she has four years to pay for this thing, and I had to co-sign for it.
I figure this, if my Dad could take a chance on me, by co-signing for a motorcycle when I was 16, then I will take a chance on her, and hope for the best.

Now, I want to see how many friends she has again, when no one came around when she 'didnt' have a car! I hate to say it, but, my Daughter 'buys' her friends, in my Wife and my opinion. Burgers, sandwhiches, running them here and there... Lets see who she picks this time as friends now.

I wish you well....

^^^ Seconded. In this day and age, being married 34 years is a great accomplishment, and that speaks great volumes of you and your wife's relationship and commitment to one another. Sorry about the meal, however. Wish I could have helped you with that.

All the best to you on 34 more great years! (And more!)

Congrat of the 34 years of marriage, that's a big accomplishment especially these days where they make it way to easy to get divorced. Continued wedding bliss!!
