Why does this happen when looking for a job?

Posted 07-13-2014 at 05:07 PM by parried

Got something for you hold on.

Why is it that these employers don't even call back for an interview, then? If the economy is so good as you people say, what's the issue? Are you telling me employers always call? I applied to so many jobs since 2010. Not a single call. It's like I never even applied.

OH, and get this....when I did try calling these places to follow up on my application, they sounded like they were pissed off for me calling them about it, and they just told me they weren't hiring. When I went in person, the manager was never there.

This is for companies like:

Mcdonald's
Burger King
Target
Sears
Gas Stations
Small retail shops
Pet stores
Grocery Stores
Restaurants

So what's the problem? If it's so easy to get a low paying job why haven't I gotten one yet?
