Welcome To Case's Column

Let me say a big welcome to all of you for joining me here. I'm going to call these blog meetings Case's Column. I wanted to use "Corner", but that was already taken. Since 2008, it's been a real privilege to come on here and share some of my life with you, and it's a big world where we live.

In these blogs, I'll just speak whatever is on my mind, but we will be playing within the rules here. I may pick a particular topic, point out an event, or shoot the breeze. I'm a little bit of an essayist at times, so I'll just speak what's on my mind, and I might tell a story or two. Or, I might spew out an opinion or three. There will be some serious moments, some tender, some poignant, but there will also be those moments that you'll just bust out laughing. But, hopefully, everything will be in good fun here. And, of course, there's a place below for your comments and thoughts as we go along here. So feel free to join me for the ride -- I sure as heck hope I'm doing this right and not making any mistakes.

Thanks for taking your time in reading Case's Column. Hopefully, you'll enjoy being entertained by it as much as I've enjoyed putting these writings together. And thanks for the time you spend in City-Data.com, where it's great to be alive!

Regards,

Trump-Pence 2016 Ticket: A Winning Choice For America

Posted 07-15-2016 at 10:26 AM by case44

In assessing the hot mess that is going on, not just in these United States, but across the world, people are hungry for real change. And politics as usual just won't cut it anymore.

Just ask the people in the country of France if you don't believe me. Think they're not tired of terrorist attacks on their homeland??

I don't wish to unduly alarm anyone in my own homeland, but, sadly, a lot of those same things could be happening eventually and more often right here in America in such bigger magnitudes if we don't take action against enemy forces. Already, we've had incidents in Orlando, San Bernardino, and Dallas in recent days. And we have a sitting president who has done nothing but praise and encourage our enemies, diss our allies, and undermine the very country in which he, you, and I all live. Barack Hussein Obama is on a clear mission (with dirty results), and I don't have to repeat to you what it is. You know by now.

You know.

And, so, after a delay due to (what else?) terrorist attacks on the other side of the globe, Donald John Trump has made his choice for Vice President on our side of the globe, albeit via Twitter. It's none other than Indiana Governor Mike Pence. Perfect fit, if you ask me, and also a safe choice. Pence is no-nonsense, a conservative, former lawyer, and past-president of the Indiana Policy Review Foundation. His track record in his short time as governor has been good, so he'll be the right guy in Donald Trump's unprecedented run at the presidency. I was pulling for former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, but some view him too controversial, although I happen to think he's very smart and is a man of conviction. Nonetheless, here we are now with the Trump-Pence ticket. Absolutely what America needs now.

Things are getting better as we approach the Republican National Convention in Cleveland this next week. I just pray that everything stays safe, because you know that the Democrats are going to bring their thugs to protest the convention, all the while showing their true colors and bringing their terrorist-loving baggage with them. Please pray for this important time. Please also pray that somebody else doesn't show up who could be worse than said protesters. Let's be honest for a few moments. People are tired of politicians. They're tired of Obama and Hillary Rotten Clinton and Bernie Sanders and Nancy Pelosi and Loretta Lynch and Harry Reid and Josh Earnest, what with the crap they've brought to the table. It's nice to know that there are still decent Americans in the face of a wrongly changing America, and that tomorrow can --- can --- still be better than today.

People like those I just mentioned (along with fake Republicans such as Lindsey Graham, Mitt Romney, John Boehner, Paul Ryan, and Jeb Bush) are the very reason there's a Donald Trump running for President of my great United States. Which would you rather have in 2017: Liberty ..............or tyranny? Right now, we have tyranny in a country that used to have liberty. We've got to turn this around, and fast. If we don't, then we will lose everything. Conservatives, it is up to us. Independents, if you truly care about your nation without taking split sides, then please do not side with Obama, Clinton, and the left. You won't want to experience the consequences.

This is an exciting ticket: Donald Trump and Mike Pence for America. We really do need to become great once again.

When there's a contrast to the status quo, the contrast often stands out and wins. And there's a real contrast this time.

It's time for us to put Obama in the rear-view mirror once and for all.

America is much bigger than Barack Obama.

America is much bigger than Hillary Rotten Clinton.

America is still the beacon for all the world.

America will once again be the most powerful nation on this Earth.

Thank goodness that Donald Trump is standing up for America. We need leadership more than ever.

And America will rise up above those who hate this place, and good will win over evil.

    God bless America!

The best convention ever. I wasn't for Trump at first but he has grown on me. I really believe he is the voice of many. Something you will never hear from the Dems is how we need to protect the constitution. I am sick and tired of hearing that the Dems hold the race card. At the convention it was debunked... Awesome!!!

Five key states Trump must win to get the White House clinched:

    1. New York
    2. Ohio
    3. Florida
    4. North Carolina
    5. Pennsylvania

While I realize that New York is historically solidly blue, don't count out the possibility of a Trump win there. He's a New Yorker and is well-liked in that state; plus, he gives conservatives the best chance to take that state this year. That's going to be crucial in the electoral college. If he gets that, no matter the outcome in the other states, then that would be huge!
