Something to look forward to this weekend.

I'm pumped. I'm going flying this weekend. Yes!
I belong to Meetups.com. There is a MD/DC/VA adventure group that is sponsoring this event. The group is fairly large so you have really pay attention when the emails come out or else you'll miss something cool.
In this case, I saw the opportunity to fly a small plane and jumped at it. I have flown both gliders and small planes before but it has been years since I've been behind the controls.
The event will be at the Mananas Airport in Virginia. I'm scheduled to fly at 4:00 pm. That late in the afternoon I expect it will bumpy due the thermals.
We will fly from Mananas to Culpepper and back, a flight time of about 30 mins. And unlike some other introductory flights we get to taxi, takeoff and land. Man I'm pumped.
Look for my comments and maybe a picture or two from the flight on the flight Monday.
