Is plugged inside the skimmer, but should be plugged in pool as well. Ensure that line under 5 ft marker does not have suction. Provide information from pool company of what line is specifically.

    There is a direct mechanical connection between the wastewater disposal system and a drain or recirculation system.
    Corrective action: Backwash or drain water shall be discharged through an air gap at least two times the diameter of the discharge pipe located above the overflow level. A splash screen barrier can be used to prevent water splashing.

  • CLOSURE NOTICE
    You are hereby notified that you must take immediate action to close your pool to the public until appropriate corrective actions are taken to safeguard the public from hazards detailed above in this report.
    Serious health violations were identified during today's health inspection. You must close your pool immediately to the public until appropriate corrective actions are completed.
    Corrective action: Before the facility named in this report can reopen for swimming pool/spa operations to the public, the owner/operator must take immediate corrective action to correct identified hazards and request a re-inspection by a Code Compliance Consumer Health Specialist. A fee of $125.00 will be required before any re-inspection may be conducted. Payment shall be made at 818Missouri Avenue, Room 154, Fort Worth, TX 76104 or by phone at 817-392-7255. Each re-inspection will require the fee be paid prior to the Consumer Health Specialists return. The closed pool/spa must meet minimum standards before it can be re-opened.

    Corrective action: A telephone or other electronic means capable of immediately summoning emergency service shall be readily accessible within 200 feet unimpeded distance (an unlocked door or gate shall not be considered an impediment) of the pool or spa water. The telephone must be located outside of the pool/spa yard enclosure unless the gates and doors are never locked in any manner, the fence is less than 52 inches tall or if it is a Class A or B pool. If the telephone is located outside of the pool/spa yard enclosure each entry gate/door that may be locked shall have a sign on the exterior of the gate/door or immediately adjacent to the gate/door a sign stating the location of the emergency telephone in 1" letters with the statement "In Case of Emergency, Call 911". Overhead lighting shall comply with standards and properly spaced underwater lighting shall provide glare-free illumination so that all portions of the pool or spa including the bottom are readily visible if a pool or spa is open for use after sunset or before sunrise.

    Corrective action: A reliable means of testing required ranges for pH, free available chlorine (i.e., DPD Test Kit which is unaffected by chloramines or other chlorine compounds) and total available chlorine or total bromine residuals, cyanuric acid (if used), total alkalinity and calcium hardness shall be maintained. Test methods shall be capable of measuring chemical ranges as set forth in 25 TAC Chapter 265 without dilution of pool/spa water. Pool yard enclosures shall be designed, constructed, installed and maintained to comply with all applicable provisions of City of Fort Worth Ordinances and the State Standard.
    Adequate enclosure is not provided. GAP AT BOTTOM OF FENCE IN NORTH CORNER IS GREATER THAN 4 INCHES.
    Corrective action: The enclosure for all pools and spas (other than new Class A & B pools) which may include a fence, portion of a building, wall or other durable enclosure not associated with private premises shall have a minimum effective perpendicular height of four (4) feet measured from the deck surface on the outside of the fence, shall not be readily climbable with horizontal members less than 45 inches between their tops or have vertical members more than four (4) inches apart or a space below the fence greater than 4" inches. If the horizontal members are less than 45 inches apart, the vertical members shall be spaced no more than 1 " apart.
