    A pump suction (vacuum) gauge is not provided. The filter inlet pressure gauge in the piping is not properly maintained.
    Corrective action: A pump suction (vacuum) gauge shall be installed as close to the suction side of the pump as possible without sacrificing accuracy. INSTALL VACUUM GAUGE WHICH MEASURES IN INCHES OF HG. Maintain the filter inlet pressure gauge in the piping properly.

All suction outlets and return inlets shall be designed, constructed, installed, maintained and operated to comply with all applicable provisions of the City of Fort Worth Ordinances and the State Standard.
    Vacuum outlets are not fitted with secure automatically closing and latching covers. A spare main drain cover is not available on the property. The main drain grate or an anti-vortex suction outlet is not functional or a suction outlet cover or grate is missing, broken or loose. NEED APPROVED EQUALIZER COVERS.
    Corrective action: All vacuum outlets shall be fitted with automatically closing and latching covers that can only be opened by using tools unless located inside a covered skimmer. INSTALL SELF CLOSING AND SELF LATCHING -SPRING LOADED VACUUM OUTLET COVER. A spare A112 approved drain cover must be available at the facility. INSTALL ALL VGB COMPLIANT DRAIN COVERS IN POOL AND PROVIDE SPARE. The pool/spa shall be closed immediately. The pumps shall be shut off and shall remain closed until the main drain grate or the anti-vortex suction outlet is properly repaired or replaced and is functioning properly and any missing, broken or loose suction outlet covers or grates are repaired or replaced with anti-vortex covers or grates that comply with ASME/ANSI A112.19.8M R96 "Suction Fittings......". USE PROPER EQUALIZER COVER OR SEAL EQUALIZER LINES.

    Corrective action: At pools where no lifeguard is provided, a securely mounted sign which is readily visible to swimmers with the warning words "NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY" with letters at least four inches high shall be placed in plain view. The sign will also state in letters at least two inches high "CHILDREN SHOULD NOT USE POOL WITHOUT ADULT SUPERVISION". At each Class C pool, one light, strong, non-telescoping, non-conducting 12 foot long or longer pole with attached body hook or shepherd's crook and one throwing rope that reaches at least 2/3 the maximum pool width with firmly attached 15 - 24 inch Coast Guard approved ring buoy shall be mounted in a conspicuous place within 20 feet of the pool. Each re-inspection will require the fee be paid prior to the Consumer Health Specialists return. The closed pool/spa must meet minimum standards before it can be re-opened.
