    The wainscot of the pool/spa are not maintained in a sanitary condition. The wainscot of the pool, spa, their component parts or bathhouse and its surroundings are not maintained in good repair.
    Corrective action: Maintain wainscot of the pool/spa so they are sanitary. Clean tile within 7 days. Maintain the wainscot pool, spa, their component parts or bathhouse and its surroundings in good repair at all times. Replace missing tile.

    Adequate gates/doors are not provided. Adequate enclosure is not provided.
    Corrective action: All gates or doors for pools and spas (other than new Class A & B pools) shall be lockable and equipped with self-locking and self-latching devices. An inaccessible opener mounted on the enclosure shall be installed at least 3.5 feet above the deck/walkway surface, shall open outward away from the pool/spa and shall be latched when the pool or spa is not in use or when nearby or associated pools/spas are closed as a result of a hazard or other unsafe condition. All ingress and egress to access a pool or spa shall be through common pool enclosure gates or doors. Office door shall shelf-close and latch. Gate by the pool pump shall self-latch (latch is missing, chain shut until repaired. Correct within 24 hours. The enclosure for all pools and spas (other than new Class A & B pools) which may include a fence, portion of a building, wall or other durable enclosure not associated with private premises shall have a minimum effective perpendicular height of four (4) feet measured from the deck surface on the outside of the fence, shall not be readily climbable with horizontal members less than 45 inches between their tops or have vertical members more than four (4) inches apart or a space below the fence greater than 4" inches. If the horizontal members are less than 45 inches apart, the vertical members shall be spaced no more than 1 " apart. Class C pools with chain link shall have until January 7, 2007 to comply with the city ordinance. Planters or other climbable structures shall not be within 36 inches of the outside fence. Move all items away from the pool fence.

    Properly designed "NO DIVING" markings are not provided. No diving symbol on the sign is less then 4 inches. Ring buoy is not at the pool. No address sign at the emergency phone.
    Corrective action: At class C & D pools where no lifeguard is provided, a securely mounted sign which is readily visible to swimmers with the warning words "NO DIVING" and the international symbol for no diving with letters at least four inches high shall be placed in plain view. Keep the ring buoy at the pool. Do not lock away. Corrected. Provide a sign with the address of the pool at the emergency phone.

At each Class C pool, one light, strong, non-telescoping, non-conducting 12 foot long or longer pole with attached body hook or shepherd's crook and one throwing rope that reaches at least 2/3 the maximum pool width with firmly attached 15 - 24 inch Coast Guard approved ring buoy shall be mounted in a conspicuous place within 20 feet of the pool. Both shall be provided for each 2,000 square feet of water surface and shall be accessible. Tie a rope to the ring buoy and bolt shepherd's hook to pole today. At pools where no lifeguard is provided, a securely mounted sign which is readily visible to swimmers with the warning words "NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY" with letters at least four inches high shall be placed in plain view.     Serious health violations were identified during today's health inspection. You must close your pool immediately to the public until appropriate corrective actions are completed.
    Corrective action: Before the facility named in this report can reopen for swimming pool/spa operations to the public, the owner/operator must take immediate corrective action to correct identified hazards and request a re-inspection by a Code Compliance Consumer Health Specialist. A fee of $125.00 will be required before any re-inspection may be conducted. Payment shall be made at 1800 University Dr. Room 219, Fort Worth, TX 76107 or by phone at 817-871-7255. Each re-inspection will require the fee be paid prior to the Consumer Health Specialists return. The closed pool/spa must meet minimum standards before it can be re-opened. Pool is closed until vac-alert is testing properly and all safety equipment is provided.
