Hi all,

We are moving to the area in July, and not sure what to do about housing. Ideally we would like a furnished holiday type let for a while, then a more permanent place before buying a place. Saying that though, how hard would it be to get a mortgage fairly soon? (husband is a Professor at Mount Union)

We would need to rent somewhere near decent schools as once our son has settled in to High school we dont want to have to move him, but ultimately we want a property to buy that has a few acres..

Dilemma!

Anyone know of where to look for good rentals? there seems to be very few on real estate sites.

Any help on this would be great

Try this lady. She lives out that way. I have never done business with her, but she should have a list of what is available.

been looking at Minerva as an area to live, High school is small though... but decent size houses with acres at a good price when we can get a mortgage..
problem we are having is finding somewhere to rent in the same ish area first!

I had no idea that Minerva is only 12 miles from Mount Union. I have been down there a few times, it is definitely rural. Probably very comparable to Berlin Center. If you can find a rental, Minerva would be a really good choice.

Look into Lousiville area. Good schools and just down the rode from Mount.
