Ok...things are in motion! We have contacted a Realtor and will be coming up to look at property at the end of the month.

We'll be arriving around noon on June 23rd and staying at DeSoto State Park.
This date is also our wedding anniversay so I'm looking for a nice but not too breaking of the wallet place to have dinner. DH is steak and potato and I'm more adventurous.

I've seen the following and would welcome any comments or suggestions for any other....

DeSoto State Park's Mountain Inn Restaurant
Mama Maria’s Restaurant & Pizzeria
The Moonlite Bistro
Ol' Tymers BBQ and Blues
The Wildflower Cafe & Country Store
Windwood Farms Restaurant

Thanks!!

Moonlight Bistro in Mentone is excellent.

Mr. Meat and Potatoes might prefer The Lookout in Cloudland, GA.

Try Katy's Katfish in Rainesville, on Hwy 35 coming into town from Fort Payne on left.
