My husband's job is moving us to the western part of Alabama in a few months. He will be working in a small town south of Demopolis. Any suggestions on a good town to live in? We're currently considering Butler, Thomasville, Demopolis or Meridian, MS. We have kids, so good schools are important. Don't mind living in a small, friendly town. Thanks for any help!

I'd pick Demopolis in a heartbeat. It's a nice town and better than the rest...

Demopolis or Thomasville. Butler is too small. You'd end up driving to Demopolis or Thomasville for basic needs anyway.

Demopolis is on the river with some of the best Bass Fishing in the state!
