I understand that a home was designated as an historical monument a couple of years ago in Black Alabama and would like to find out more about it.

I'm guessing that you aren't from around here.

What do you mean by "Black Alabama"?

There are plenty of antebellum homes on the National Register of Historic Places; there are several homes in Alabama that belonged to Confederates that are now museums; and there is a section of the State known as the 'Black Belt', due to the soil.

Would you mind restating your question?

I am referring to the town of Black, Alabama. I understand that there is an old log cabin style home in the vacinity that was dedicated as a confederate memorial and I would like to learn more about it. The present owners may be relatives of mine that I have never met and therefore I am interested in the history of the home. Can you provide any information that may help?
