So the lack of posts isn't for lack of people. It's just too easy for the moderator to make a Montgomery folder. So why not?

A more accurate total:

2008 Metropolitan Estimates
Birmingham: 1,117,608
Mobile: 406,309
Huntsville: 395,645
Montgomery: 365,924

That's more like it! Besides, when people look at a city's size nowadays, they don't just look at the city's population, they look at the metro's.

I don't actually live in Montgomery, I live in Blue Ridge on Emerald Mountain. But your statistics don't necessarily nullify my point that Montgomery is a major metropolitan area and deserves its own folder, with the other point being there's no written criterion, only a subjective one there there aren't enough posts. Creating another folder takes less time than it does to respond to this post- I know, I ran 5 websites for the US Air Force.
I don't really care, but I get the idea that you guys just don't care for Montgomery (not sure I blame you politically) and this is one way to "dis" em.

I in no way have any say in the matter it is up to the owner of this forum. It has nothing to do with the size of the city whether or not there is a sub forum, it has to do with traffic (posts) for that city. Mobile didn't have a sub forum until this year.

If you have any other questions/suggestion regarding City Data's setup you need to post them in 'About the Forum' so an Administrator or Sr. Mod can respond.
