LOL,

Sorry to laugh but that was funny. You're right, Bear, NORTHERN NoCal is HOT, really really hot on occasion. The San Francisco Bay area the PP was referring too is not as hot. I too have spent time in CA. Northern CA is a large chunk of CA and there is more to life then the Bay.

I know this is old but the ADN wrote this article.

But while Anchorage may not have set any records for the amount of rain, it is on track to be the cloudiest and gloomiest summer in recorded history. As of Thursday, the weather service documented 26 consecutive days with a trace or more of precipitation in Anchorage -- one day shy of the record 27 days recorded in 1951.

The forecast for Palmer anyway is calling for a mix of clouds and sun with a high of 70 today. 66 and partly cloudy tomorrow! I really hope you get a good streach of some much needed nice days.
That forecast would make most people down here jealous.

It was decent here on Thursday (overcast, but not raining and not too foggy), absolutely miserable all day yesterday, and looks like it may be decent today. I can see filtered sunlight on the house across the street right now, though it's still pretty foggy. I was supposed to have today off, but found out last night at 10:30pm that I don't. Boo hoo.

I woke up this morning in Homer with the lovely, comforting sound of rain on a metal roof, only it wasn't mine, it was the neighbors. Mushrooms anyone?
