Looking to work this spring at a Seafood Processing Plant. Would appreciate any tips on Plants to stay away from. Also any recommendations.
Is access to the internet at some of these places a silly dream?

Thanx

I know they've improved a number of things, but I still wouldn't recommend working for Silver Bay in Valdez. No idea what their other plants are like, though.

Working 12 hrs. 7 days - I can't imagine working hungover or even drinking during this period - and I'm an alcoholic.

I would recommend leaving that out during the interview.

I worked in one all day (taking otolith samples for the hatchery) while I had food poisoning. At this particular plant (Silver Bay) I had to obtain my samples from severed fish heads instead of whole fish. I had to go outside and puke off the dock about every 45 minutes.
