Getting in the holiday mood, thought this might be a good subject what are you thankful for. Myself, I'm thankful we made it to Alaska and have found a home. I'm thankful for my wife and son and everything we have. I'm thankful for the C-D family that has been so helpful in our move and welcoming us to Alaska. Thank you and Happy Thanksgiving everyone.....

I'm exceedingly thankful that the Moose Lodge finally purchased a proper blender and of course for the majority of the election results this year.

It goes without saying that I am thankful and blessed for my Beloved and my beloved son. Thankful for the acquaintances I have made here, meeting some of you, and hoping to meet more. Thankful to Rance and Sweden for welcoming the dog into their home and for being just what that dog needed

Yes, I am also thankful for the opportunity to reside in a lovely state and have the ability to appreciate the finer aspects of it.

May everyone have a Happy Thanksgiving wherever your plate and fork are.

I'm thankful that I have a good job, good kids, and a good life all the way around.

And now, the Mal prayer for food:

"Through the teeth and over the gums,
Look out stomach, here it comes!"

There is the alternative:

"Rub-a-dub-dub
Thanks for the grub,
Yeay God!"

I'm thankful for my family (including our 2 dogs who also provide so much love); I'm thankful for friends, and all that I have. I am also thankful that there is a great Alaskan group on this forum. Although this forum is for what we are thankful for, I must add that it is my hope and prayer that those that are in need will have a warm roof over their heads and an abundance of food and that our soldiers will all be safe. Happy Thanksgiving All!!!!

I'm thankful for having a good job in a beautiful place with great co-workers. I'm thankful for my wonderful, loving family back in Minnesota, as well as the wonderful friends I've met here. I'm thankful for my new friends here on City-data (esp. Aurorawatcher )

And, new this year, I'm thankful for my sobriety.

Happy Thanksgiving and blessings, everyone. Love you. Love life.

Eww, AkGrl, you're such a sappy softie at heart! Yeah, yeah, I know. Maybe it's not so bad to be a softie after all.
