I worked with a girl back in MI. that lived most her life in Soldovia. I can shoot an email off to her and ask for some good places.

She always said that she really missed the place.

Default Seldovia

I've only walked around the few blocks close to the harbor but it looks like a quaint little place. I have been wanting to go there for blueberries and clams but never seem to make it. Maybe this year.
If you want something easier, Cohoe Cove campground on the Kasilof is pretty nice. I go with a group every year to camp and fish for kings off the bank. You can get a charter if you want and they launch right out of there.

There is a bunch of Bed and Breakfast places there. You can call the city office to get a list of them.

I have a some friends that live there and own a house overlooking the harbor, and some others than moved there from Nenana. I always liked the place, good choice to visit.
