Default treatment for devil's club rash?

This stuff is taking forever to clear up! It looks like angry red scars on my legs. Can you recommend a treatment? Thanks!

... I don't know what the hell I was thinking, hiking in shorts...

You have to pull all the thorns out, that's about the only bad thing about the plant.

Yep, the thorns. After you get them out only time will heal it up. A little benadryl cream will help the itch, if it's still itching. Don't hate the devil though. That plant has a lot of medicinal properties. You just didn't use it right...

Let's hope that Bob doesn't see this. He'll do that and skip the water, the towel and the deoderant. Rub it on the skin and the clothes. Smell fresh.

Never got a rash from Devils Club just thorns... Tide is a new one on me ... other than herbal mix - you can always try the old nettle clense - Baking Powder and water as a paste.. Wouldn't think a rash without thorns would be there that long.
