Irregardless "each" home built will impact the environment regardless of where it is built. Can you explain what type of home would blend into the habitat? Solar powered, etc etc ?

I'm no fan of Palin but I figure she like anyone else can build what she wants on "her" property. With more and more moving here there is building going on all the time in one way or another.

gosh if ya can afford solar or wind power to stay off the grid more power to one...I mean a unobtrusive looking structure, on a waterfront to keep it as natural as possible for not only the water creatures but the wildlife to cross through.

Well that's why people "buy" property so basically they can use it as they choose within certain limits. .

Anytime anyone goes off the grid they are also interfering with nature and the natural beauty of the land. When you build your home up here you will be doing the same thing only on a much smaller scale then Palin and most likely not on a beautiful waterfront. The creatures go where they choose; thus coming into yards all the time in Anchorage and the Valley.

the land we will be building on is beautiful waterfront and we have and are taking time investigating how not to change/damage the waterfront by contacting the Kenai Watershed for information. No it certainly will not be a huge house as we see no need for excessive and we are very concerned of the appearance to the other people living on the lake to make it as unobtrusive as possible and blend in. we hope the creature still cross through and enter the water where they do now.

Isn't Lake Lucille already dead?

The whole thing is probably going to become some sort of Palien cult compound; we should alert the Weekly World News.

The lake looks pretty good to me. Too late, one of her obsessed fans has already alerted the Weekly World News....and Bob will do a story on it also with his World News...

Blue--there are very little, if any, fish in Lake Lucille. It's a dead lake already. I don't believe that it used to be so.
