In an editorial posted on its website Sunday night, Sarah's Palin's hometown newspaper in Wasilla, Alaska, warned author and journalist Joe McGinniss (who has moved next door to Palin as he conducts research for a book on the former governor) about a state law that allows the use of deadly force to defend one's property.

It brings together a Washington Trailer Jock and the Interior Decorator to Crzytown together in one happy farm. Lawn chair worthy.

By being here, I have learned things, and I've gotten an insight into her character, into her ability to incite hatred, that before I only knew about in the abstract."

Certainly sounds as if his book will be high quality and unbiased material.

Whatever.
That statement alone makes him safer than anything else he could do.
Now Palin HAS to make sure that he isn't hurt,
Does anybody in that town have a brain?

You know, I read that piece in the Frontiersman the day it came out...and I had a completely different take on iit. I think my interpretation was wrong now that I go back and look.

But I had just seen report where some nutty out-of-state reporter actually walked up to Joe M's house and when he didn't answer the door, started calling out to him through an open window, all of this was on camera.

I'm thinking, don't these idiot reporters know the meaning of trespassing? My take was that Joe M might want to get a gun and defend his property from nosy reporters. I don't think that is what the writer intended but that was how I understood it.

As far as the fence, who really cares? I can't believe how big of a mess everyone makes of all this stuff. I would probably have built a fence exactly like it in that situation.

I was wondering where to go canoeing tonight, maybe I'll drop my canoe in Lake Lucille and see how the fishing is.

Here is the original article with 101 comments on it...good grief

Since being here? Where, in this forum? How can you possible have gotten an insight into Palin's character based on what people in this forum have to say about Palin? Don't you realize that all you have gotten is an insight into the characters of the people who post in this forum instead of Palin's?
