Saratoga Springs, Schuylerville, South Glens Falls and Ballston Spa would work. You might like Saratoga Springs better due to having things to do and culture in comparison to the other communities in the vicinity. New York schools - NY elementary, middle and high school information

thanks for the info... can i trust the crime level listing in that site??
Schuylerville School District is a very good system which consists of quite a few towns: Saratoga, Stillwater, Wilton, Ft. Edward, Easton, Northunderland, Greenwich.
The Saratoga Springs/Malta area are very safe and schools are good. However, since you said you were of Chinese background, you might like to be a little closer to things related to the Chinese community. I know I'm going out on a limb and generalizing, but things like Chinese school and the Chinese market seem to be important to many Chinese people I know.
You might want to consider Clifton Park and the Shenendehowa School District. It's about 10 minutes south of Malta, but still in Saratoga County. I used to live there. It's a great suburb if that's your thing and it's also convenient to the more culturally diverse Albany/Niskayuna/Troy area. Due to GE R&D, Knolls Atomic(KAPL), RPI and other science/tech companies and colleges in the area, there are quite a number(relatively speaking) PHD folks from overseas.
Niskayuna might be another area to consider, as it has great schools and a relatively high Asian population. It's not too far from Malta too.
