Just taking a long shot here but is anyone aware of any support groups for folks that have "Short gut/bowel syndrome".

Have you CALLED the major hospital where you had this surgery? Generally, medical professionals practicing in a specialty are the best resources for finding support groups.

Have even spoken to all three surgeons and they are unaware of any groups. One would think if there were support groups they would know. Guess they keyword is unaware.

If you cannot find a support group specifically for short gut, maybe you could look for a broader group, such as one for Chron's (or something more personally relevant). You might be able to connect with other people who have similar issues that way? Good luck to you...
