Hey everyone, I've been living in Albuquerque about 7 months now. Unfortunatly I am going to be moving back to the midwest next week. While I love it out here, I just can't make enough money to justify staying here right now. I am hoping in the future that I will be able to return, but it the meantime I am hoping to get as many good photos of the area before I leave as possible. I was just looking for input in to the best things/areas to photograph around the ABQ area before I leave. I want to take as many good photographic memories as possible! Thanks!

Sorry to hear you are leaving. Hopefully you may be able to come back, visit. I see you found the http://www.city-data.com/forum/albuq...to-thread.html leaving next week does not give you a lot of time.

Jemez
Madrid - On the Turquoise Trail
Sandia Crest - Drive up, then go to Madrid if time permits
Old Town

Up at the Petroglyphs on the West Side on Atrisco Vista, walk around the three volcanic peaks. You can see the whole city and valley from there and awesome views of the Sandias.

and I took this one near Central and Atrisco Vista
