That happened in California too. Granted, I would expect it more there than here.

What is bizarre about the Mexican flag? New Mexico has close ties to Mexico. There is an office of the Consulate of Mexico down the street from the Convention Center. Albuquerque and Chihuahua are sister cities. And Albuquerque of course once belonged to Mexico, and the Mexican flag flies in Old Town, among other places. People in the city of Mexican heritage, including legal immigrants, are allowed to wave any flag they want. This is -- still -- a free country.

Trump himself incites violence at his rallies. He also uses highly inflammatory language ("Mexicans are rapists and murderers"). In case you forgot, he has offered to pay the legal fees of anyone who slugs a protester at his rallies. Is there any wonder why some people react to him the way they do? What goes around, comes around.

For all we know, he plants people among the protesters to incite violence. With his ties to the mob, it wouldn't surprise me.
Ah Come on, you don't really believe that.

This is the organization responsible to causing violence at Trump rallies.

What is bizarre is that it's being waved by individuals who are demanding the right of Mexicans to immigrate to the United States in complete disregard of our immigration law and national borders. They are so desperate to be in the United States (or to allow anyone else from Mexico to come here on their own say so), but they express it by waving a Mexican flag. OK.

From what I saw in California, the Mexican flag was being waved by the same group that was involved in violence and vandalism. Not a good look.

While true, we must remember;

"New Mexico, or Nuevo México in Spanish, is often incorrectly believed to have taken its name from the nation of Mexico. However, New Mexico was given its name in 1563, and again in 1581, by Spanish explorers who believed the area contained wealthy Indian cultures similar to those of the Aztec Empire.[8][9][10] Mexico, formerly a part of New Spain, adopted its name centuries later in 1821, after winning independence from Spanish rule. Consequently, New Mexico was only a part of the independent federal republic of Mexico for 12 years, 1836 through 1848. The two developed as neighboring Spanish-speaking communities, with relatively independent histories."

While sharing ethnic similarities the two have separate histories.

For example (this was in California):

Mexican flag appears somewhere toward the middle of the clip.

We are a majority Hispanic state. Trump has said vile things about Hispanics. That was the catalyst here I would think, if there is one beyond the fact that Trump is just so divisive.

That doesn't justify illegal stupid behavior. These morons did more to hurt their cause (which I share) than they did to help. It's exactly the sort of thing the Donald loves to see.
