Kudos to Ruth4Truth! Mrs.elkotronics and I just got done hitting up the closest Dollar General to us and she found us a 24-pack of Angel Soft toilet paper!!!! The clerk told her she'd probably have TP for a month now with that pack.
Proof positive that the exchange of information on city-data can indeed be very, very useful.

I got a 4 roll of TP from the Rio Rancho Smith's for 79 cents. I use it to blow my nose. On the bright side I did discover Cottonelle TP. It's my go-to from now on.
I was at a different Walgreens and the pharmacy assistant entered the numbers for me, which made me feel silly making her do it. I had a card that could be scanned but forgot it in the car. Just don't touch your face and wash your hands when you get home.
As an improvised glove I used a plastic produce bag and stuck my hand inside.
I carry a clorox wipe into the store with me and wipe down the keypad before I touch it for any keying. Then immediately use hand sanitizer after leaving the store.

Better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick, eh?
I have considered doing the same. I know we get our morning paper in very small plastic bags that are not good for much of anything but they would be good to serve as a glove.

That would work. They're talking about wearing masks and gloves right now on Dr. Oz. Some say both masks and gloves aren't helpful if you're feeling healthy and practicing social distancing. Dare say I tend to agree with them. If you feel feverish or otherwise sick that changes everything.
Use both masks and gloves if you're starting to feel sick or, of course, you are sick and you're coughing, etc.
Smith's is no longer bagging if you use a reusable bag, so leave them at home. Paper or plastic. They also seem to have stopped using dividers for orders. A big thank you to everyone who works there and we hope they all stay safe as they perform such vital services at this scary time.
Smiths yesterday on Golf Course had a lot of Cottonelle TP. I guess the hoarders are running out of space.
