I think I met my first Meth addict a few weeks ago, worst waitress I've ever had. There are meth addicts, I'm sure it's a problem, but it's not going to change your quality of life in the city.
I am going to be working in the ER with all these people so I want to know what I am up against. There is not a big problem with meth here. marijuana, cocaine not meth
There is a meth problem. When you least expect it, you'll run into a meth head in a grocery store or on a street corner. Then you won't see one again for months.
I've been at the ER (not Lovelace but just down the street a ways) several times in the past year at 3 or 4am. I've never seen any meth heads, just some very drunk people. ER security at nights tends to be very good.
Metabolites, pharmacologically inactive bits, remain in your system (they bind to fat cells) for as long as a month.
Anyone who thinks they are experiencing acute effects from marijuana use more than a couple of hours after smoking has pre-existing mental problems.
Cocaine, Heroin, and Meth metabolites are water-soluble and thus are flushed from the system in less than 48 hours. That is why it is better to be addicted to Coke and Meth when looking for a job. you only have to quit for two days before your pi ss test.
If you smoke pot, you might as well just live on the street because you aren't getting hired.
