Agree Abqsunport and Penelope especially with the economy turning sour Temps can help people who need some employment until a permanent job opens up as i myself have been on both sides of the Temp Agency. Although i will say that poor ol' New Mexico is doing well compared to most states in the nation as all areas in the state are cranking.

Oil and Gas sectors are Booming as is Albuquerque and Las Cruces in people and construction growth. The dairies and cheese factories in Eastern NM are doing well and our military bases are strong and growing in base personel over these next couple of years do to bracc.

Good point Boston.....as they reciently broke ground out in Mesa Del Sol along with Schott Solar which also broke ground out there south of the International Airport.

Are there any Messenger service/light delivery jobs in Albuquerque or surrounding areas? Just considering a way to supplement retirement.

I thought your original plan was better. Your rate of pay to fix/modify/build stuff is likely to be 3x your above proposal.

OTOH, if you could get something that was regional and took you out into the boonies - including AZ/UT/CO - *that* would be a really cool way to see a lot of stuff on someone else's dime.

Mortimer - You got it. The messenger bit was to indulge in a bit of paid tourism. I still plan on the fix/modify/build plus stand alone heat and electric systems for way off the beaten trail locations.

Here's the one for Schott Solar as they are building a large plant out in Mesa Del Sol. They have listings for their Albuquerque facility.

I for one will be examining both of these listings thoroughly this week and perhaps pursuing leads if they a) meet my salary requirement, and b) meet my professional requirement.

How exciting. Great to see ABQ with employers like this (new, expanding, etc.).
