I am having a hard time finding a list of running/walking trails in the area. Particularly NW. I've tried googling but am not the best googler. I keep seeing people on one on my way to work (on Paseo west of I-25) but I don't know where it starts. I'd like to be able to find where it starts so I can park my car there and then do some running/walking on the trails.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

What are you looking for in a trail?

Pavement? Dirt? Flat? Uphill?

I'd suggest starting in a few places at the outside and one in
the middle of town so that you get a feel for the general layout.

As a first choice, since you noticed it, park at the Railrunner station
near Paseo and run on that dude. You can go North-South and
East-West from there. Just pick the direction that looks the most
interesting and do it.

The E-W trail goes mostly W from there and the N-S trail mostly S.
You can go all the way to UNM from there and all the way to the river.

Later, I'll tell you about Tramway trails and other venues nearby.

We like to do the Black Arroyo Trail on the West Side near Cibola HS.

Use this link and click on the zip code to check the trails in the area. Each one will give you a detailed map. For the west side try zips 87114 and 87120. I'm not sure what the zip code is near Paseo & I-25.

Close to you is the turnoff from Coors to the Soutwestern
Polytechnic Institute. It is just about 500 ft S of Paseo.

Turn N immediately to the Canal Frontage road and follow that road East
about 1/2 mile along the property line of the A-1 Self Storage facility.

There is a parking area on Alamo Farm Rd.

From there, you can run a little over three miles to the Han Arroyo which
goes N and S from there. ( S to UNM ) ( N to Alameda ). There are many
opportunities to cross Paseo and use trails that run parallel on the N side.

Also note that just about any arroyo has, at least, a service road
that you can run on - even if it doesn't have a paved multi-use trail.
The arroyo's in the heights tend to have a grade where you'll go up
some 200 ft for every mile, so this might be unsuitable.

You will also find a number of undeveloped arroyos around the bosque area that
are suitable for running on. These are really pretty under the cottonwoods.

There's an undeveloped trail along the bosque that you can access right behind Sagebrush Community Church on Coors NW.

You can also access the trails on Alameda just over the bridge as you head East. There is a parking lot there so you can ride a bike, roller blade or run on the trails there. That is a convenient spot to 87114.
