Can anyone tell me what the minimum wage for servers is in new mexico? I had read it is 2.13 an hour?

That sounds correct. The rest of the mimimum wage is made-up in tips from customers. The total minimum wage is something closer to $7.50/hr.

Yes. However, the IRS expects you to claim them all at tax time.

When I worked in food service I routinely made over $12/hr.

I guess it depends on where you work.
