I checked at Albertson's at Academy and Tramway. They only had pints...no half gallons! I read Sunflower was going to carry it. I hope Albertson's is going to carry more than just the pints.
Whenever we go to Texas to visit relatives, we can always find it on sale somewhere for between $3 and $4.50 per half gallon.

$3 @ Sunflower. I was disappointed in the ingredients.

I was on "introductory" sale at $3.00 a half gallon here in Ruidoso when I bought a couple of gallons recently. Normal price will be $6.39 - probably next time I go for it. Competitive ice cream here is Blue Bunny and it retails regularly at about $3.50 per 1.75 Qts. Will be interesting to see just how successful Blue Bell is after the price goes up - but since Ruidoso is often jammed with Texans, it should do well locally.

I guess I never even realized that ABQ didnt have Blue Bell ice cream, we had it in Eastern NM, you can find it there, plus in Eastern NM you can get those Mrs. Bairds Pecan Sweet Rolls, those are awesome.

Yay, Bluebell is here! Now if I could just get Community Coffee here, I'd be a really happy camper. At least it's cheap to ship coffee....

I can buy chicory coffee at one of the grocers here, but prefer to mix my own by ordering the chicory in bulk from an internet source. I need it ground extra fine anyway for use in an espresso machine.

I found Cafe du Monde New Orleans coffee with chicory at Ta Lin last year, a pleasant surprise.

I remember when Corona beer used to be among the cheapest on the market, back in the day, before it became the #1 import. At these prices, you can keep it, my friends ... It's all about priorities!

I'm off to Sunflower today to hunt some down, and on sale yet, woohoo! Thanks for the tip, y'all.
