about my 4th glass of wine: our lesbian foster daughter just announced she and her partner of 20 years have decided to get married in June. Spoiled brat has been asked to give her away, I will be the mother or the whatever she will be and our oldest daughter is m or M honor. We love her, we adore her partner, but we never expected this.

Your daughter will be a bride....not a 'whatever'.

well we just spent 4 days in Vegas with them and she isn't even sure if they are both brides or whatever. Yes, I do realize they are tech both brides. Actually I think they are doing this just to have a reason for a huge party which is what it is going to be. After all these years I said to them: I think you just want an excuse to party for 24 hours, they both laughed and agreed. it is going to be one heck of a party, I will say that.

Drinking some sangria made yesterday with cabernet sauvignon, fresh fruit and San Pelligrino lemon soda. Yum.

A chardonnay/viognier blend that spent some time on oak. I think it was $10.

While in the store picking up my usual Raspberry Vodka I noticed Irish Mist, It is a honey based Liqueur. Interesting drink. You can taste the honey. I cool my drink i the fridge. I don't do "rocks" because I drink slow and the melting ice delutes the drink.
