Have not had one in over 20 years - next time I serve tequila, we are going to have those instead of margarita!! I remember it looking so pretty in the glass - thus the name - was it OJ & grenadine pour on top to float down - any other ingredient I am missing??

Just found this thread. I had dark rum mixed with diet creme soda yesterday for football day. Nothing alcoholic today.

I have also made them with both pineapple and orange juice, which I actually prefer. But yes, it is normally just OJ and grenadine. They are also good with vodka instead of tequila.
