I am from Canada, where the Bloody Ceasar is an ever so popular drink. For the life of me, I have not been able to find a Bloody Ceasar in the States...onlny Bloody Mary's and its just not the same!

What is the reason???? Quite annoying when it is one of you favorite drinks!

So, just ask the bartender at the places you frequent to stock some Clamato. It's not like you're asking for hummingbird's breath, or something.

Yeah, isn't it just the same thing, but with Clamato v. reg. tomato juice?

It's pretty popular here in Helena Montana. There is a boat-in bar at Holter Lake north of Helena, and his specialty is the Ceasar. I like his recipe- uses Worsc., tabasco, bitters, a full pepperoncini, olives and a couple cocktail shrimp. It's truly a liquid lunch!

I've had plenty of places make me a Bloody Mary with Clamato (California, Texas, Iowa), its that they just don't know to call it a Bloody Caesar.

Was hungover in Boston and ordered what I thought was a Bloody Mary...they gave me a Caesar instead. Thought it was disgusting I spit it out.

Never had the Caesar version but sounds tasty - can someone post their favorite recipe?

Bartenders don't always know what they're doing with the mixed drinks. Maybe they just don't know how to make it or have never heard of it? I can't count how many times I've ordered something and then had to tell the bartender how to make it. Or they may not have the right ingredients, in which case they should tell you what they have before you order it.

Haha, that's what happened to me one night when I was going to take it easy, order a Roy Rogers, they gave me a Rob Roy and I almost puked my guts out.
