Hello! Looking to become fluent in Spanish and have been looking to travel a bit. In which Latin American countries are black/brown people treated most fairly and discriminated against the least? No disrespect, but please no answers based on assertions or theories...please provide answers from either personal experience, or experiences you've heard of from someone you know. THANKS!

There is discrimination everywhere. I'd recommend picking a country you are more comfortable with visiting or traveling to. Just travel to some Latin American countries. Also as ppl say "When in Rome, do as the Romans DO".
And as another poster on said SSDD. Same **** Different Day. There are already so many threads on this very topic LOL. the search bar is at your disposal! Ciao

Despie what you think I'd say the less common the blacks are in a Latin american country the most exotic they are perceived and the less likely to be linked to bad stereotypes they are. I'd say Argentina and uruguay would be a good choice. Don't ever think in a country where black people is a minority because in those countries they tend to associate the afrolatinos as the bottom of the society.

Uruguay is +20% black. And Afro-Argentines have also been becoming more vocal. They have been swept under the rug by their respective governments and silenced. But there is a re awakening of the existence of forgotten, hidden, and neglected peoples.
