A trini freind of mine is going, he hasnt been to Trinidad in along time hes going back for carnival. I really wish i could go, i was watching some of the carnival videos on youtube, maybe someday.
Well I live in Trinidad so I'm going lol. Just playing Jouvert..no mas for me this year. Going to steel pan finals on Carnival Saturday too and a couple other fetes between now and next Tuesday. Nothing major. On the actual Monday and Tuesday I'll probably go to the beach or something. It is VERY hard to be in downton Port of Spain and just watch mas after having played in the past.

So true. I have had friends ask me to go with them because they've never been...but they just want to watch. My response is always "sorry, but there's no way I can go and just watch." I'd be on the beach with along with some of the more religious people in my family who refrain from the festivities...
