Sports: West Indians care much more about football (soccer), track and cricket and don't care at all about American Football or Baseball (only the spanish-speaking islands play that)
Food: very different, much more use of roots (ground provision), fruits, fresh fish, spices, curries, etc.
Accent & Language: don't even need to elaborate on this one, it's obvious
Religion: Similar strong Christian overtones with the additional Obeah/Spiritism undercurrent
Music: Different (though becoming less so with Americanisation)
Values: traditional values tend to be very similar, especially between West Indians and "country" African Americans. Not so much with inner-city folk.

I'm not sure I agree with that statement since it varies widely from island to island. St Kitts definitely isn't mostly Evangelical/Pentecostal, although they do have a big presence (maybe 25%). On the other hand, places like Dominica, St Lucia, Trinidad and Grenada have huge Catholic populations. It's only really in JA and GT that the dominant religion is Evangelical/Baptist and even in the case of GT it's mostly among Blacks.

Page 54. You will see that out of 50k living in SKN, only 10k are Anglican, and 10k are Methodist, and 3k are Roman Catholics, and 4k are Moravian.
Long gone are the days when the Anglican church was numerically dominant. In fact even among the richest 20% Anglicans are way out numbered by other denominations.

Those numbers together make up about 55% of the population though. I'm not denying that the Anglican church is in decline, but not everyone has converted over to an Evangelical branch and whether they will or won't is to be seen.

My point is that 80% of the population is not Anglican. There are as many Methodists as Anglicans. And when you add up all the Evangelical/Pentecostals, they are now the largest group at around 40%.
To my surprise Barbados is about the same. In Jamaica there are the same number of Anglicans as Catholics (less than 10%).
The Anglican church is in decline. It only survives because it is still a highly prestigious domination, along side Catholicism, still a little more than are Methodists.
