Would it be beneficial for the Central Americans. Since most of the central americans are poorer and have less infraestructure than Mexico. Also the central americans can travel freely thoughout Mexico up to Tijuana and work and live and spend money.

Also, Mexicans could go up to costa rica too

I think that would never work. Would Canada ever join the US or Haiti join DR? I am curious though as to why you would exclude Panama in this Central American Mexico?

Because Panama is not historically and culturally part of Central America. Panama has always been historically part of Colombia and South America. It has always Ben viewed as the northern most region of South America and was the extension and trading gateway for commodities, goods, trades, and slaves, and treasure to South America. It is like a South American outpost.

Yeah that could be reason and also because Panama slighty has a better human development index and a slightly gdp per capita than Mexico.

I notice that smaller countries either are more developed than larger countries because they are able to organize themselves and therefore become more efficient OR be less developed than larger countries because they lack resources and a crime organization can really become a threat to the smaller country. Panama and Uruguay being the former example and Honduras and El Salvador being the latter example.

But i dont see how can Central Americans and Mexico benefit. The only ones that would benefit are the cartels because there would be less barriers through the drug supply lines from Colombia to Mexico

The Central American nations were part of Mexico before they branched off and formed their own nation. They were part of Mexico.

And many Central Americans go to Mexico. There are so many cultural amd historical ties and similarities.

I think it could be beneficial for them to reunite with Mexico

^ Thank you. I would've also said much of the american southwest but that's unlikely since it's part of the world's largest economy.

Also I excluded Panama because it originally was not even part of Mexico to begin with, no historical or cultural ties and is more Colombian than it is Mexican. Panama should go to our Colombian brothers.

Makes sense to me, I had no idea Panama used to be part of Gran Colombia and that the Central American nations were part of the United States of Mexico!! Good to know
