I still keep thinking about young women, about anyone, really, being required to work alone. Baristas, cashiers at all-night convenience stores...

It is not a job I would feel safe taking, and I am not easily frightened by the dangers of modern life.

There really should be a law that at least two people be in these businesses at all times. And yes, I realize that may make a morning latte cost more, but isn't it worth the price if it keeps people safer?

There is no way to prevent all possible disasters, but having at least two people in any place of business at all times would be an improvement, don't you agree?

Unconfirmed, body found at Eklutna Lake. They did call her dad to let him know that they are not sure if it is her or not.

^^^ Every time I open this thread I'm afraid that I'm going to see something like this. Even if it isn't her, and I think that it most likely is, it's someone...

I don't think it can be her from what I've just read on KTUU's site.

They can't determine the gender. (yet)

In other words this body is too decomposed to determine.

Samantha could not have possibly decomposed in this short amount of time with it being this cold.

So, relax and wait for the findings.
