Sounds like the roadside hotdog stands we used to have down here... Except I don't think the girls in AK are wearing g-strings in the winter.

BTW, the hotdogs were horrible, but for some reason the lines were long.

They eventually all got shut down because they created a roadside traffic hazard.

All has been quite, word a few days ago they supposedly had a lead. So they may be keeping quite until they investigate the lead.

Unless this a-hole is the type to keep her hidden away, I am not at all sanguine about the outcome of this. I hate predators.

Its happened before; and of all places... .. in Point Hope. A young blonde girl was kidnapped and held against her will for many years; The state police came up to get her in the late 80's or early 90's, she was returned to her family; several months later she was back; She couldn't handle civilization after being in Pt. Hope.

With AK being having a smaller population than the other states, i bet the Feds are helping out on this case. The news has been very quite, I guess they have leads and trying to keep a low pro right now.

ADN mentioned there was a video, which the police refuse to release. You'd think that might help with someone recognizing the SOB that took her. Unless the police feel if the perp see's himself on TV or in the papers he might just go ahead and kill her if he hasn't already. What a mess.

Makes you wonder if they really do have a video or if they thought saying they did would flush the perp out. One report I read said he knew where the cameras were so I'm thinking they didn't get any footage of his face. Either way I think releasing it might just jog someones memory and at least give them a lead.

Population has nothing to do with the investigation! The FBI is involved in all kidnapping cases!

No ransom demands (that we know of) I fear she might have just run off with her kidnapper!

Her father must be out of his wits by now. I sure hope this has a good ending.
