I have used Fedex Office many times, but the computers lag horribly. Even though they lag their timer never lags with it. 30 cents per minute not including prints.

I'm trying to get a resume together. The job centers put "Bandwidth blocks" on downloading PDFs to modify, they hardly let you do email. And you can't do LinkedIn on there cause it is "Social" Yeah job experience professional profile is "Social".

So anybody know of an Internet Cafe with printing, Or other type of place with computer rental use in Anchorage? Or even the Valley for that matter. Searches have only shown me places with Wifi, which I have internet. I just want to be able to print, use their professional programs pay and leave.

Last time Fedex office was 38 bucks with the printing costs of my resume 5 copies 3 pages (references included), 49 cents a piece. Plus the per minute charge. Any suggestions would help. All my google keywords aren't coming up with much. Elim Cafe is nice but their computers are only good for internet browsing.

Check the public Libraries, they often have Computer that can be used.
Also are you printing in color? if so/why? B/W should cost 5-10cents a page.

One part of the process for a job I am going for is to put a project estimate down. So a lot of graphs separating supplies, graphs to show different man hours required to fulfill logistics. Images of comparable work to estimate from.

So they want it to look accurate and good presentation. Other jobs are simple resumes. But I'm trying to move up.

There was a place on Old Seward I got told about Vortrekx. So I will have to check it out and see if they're still going.

Why not just buy an ink jet. I know long term they cost a lot to run but short term they are ok. Plus you should get an ok one an change from $50.

Although it reads as though you don't like the job center's slow download time, you can print for free. Just take your thumb drive down and print away.

It isn't slow speeds at job center. They don't allow downloads. The Bandwidth controls. Printing color graphs for a process bid... Can't be done. Office lady thought that was much for getting a job when I asked for them to print my color pdf. Requiring that I prove my experience through an assignment by recruiting is a bit much? Buying a printer is one thing I have one but it doesn't print like a serious one that would make the difference of a professional resume for a professional job of bidding for projects. I better give a good bid for employment if I'm going to bid for work. But buying Adobe Photoshop, illustrator, Acrobat, Flash writer. Is not financially wise for me without a job.

I have no idea what resources they have but you could check with the Career Services Center at UAA.
