I'm jumping on the Myrtle Beach bandwagon...now THAT would be a good time!
That would be fun we'll all meet at Broadway at the Beach

As nice as Myrtle Beach allegedly is it simply would not be fair for Arizona guys and guyettes to travel so far and Sheena to have it in her town. She should have to travel also. (Sorry Sheena)

So, I suggest Wilmington, NC:

1) Its has a beautiful historic downtown and a great boardwalk along Cape Fear River.

2) Parts of Market Street look eerily like Main St/Apache Trail on the east side of the valley - restaurants and fast food, car dealerships, hotels, banks and strip malls.

Best of all,
3) There is a great BBQ place called "Sticky Fingers" at 5044 Market St and right next door to it is a "HOOTERS"! Just take I-40 east; it dead ends about 1/2 mile from them.
Sticky Fingers
Hooters of Wilmington - Wilmington, NC

It's true...not even I could make that up .

So.....does anyone know whats the latest on this 'get together' yet? Any conclusions?
And, depending on how everyone else feels, location, time, etc, I can talk to the guys in the band and possibly set up and play for about an hour or so? A freebee of course, but mostly an open 'practice' so to speak? We do classic rock/some country, so the option is offered, providing they wanna do it. Just a thought, though.

If we're going to meet at a public park, you'll have to get a permission from the city in order to play.

I'm okay with October 6th, at either the Tempe Town Lakes, or Goldwater Lake in Prescott.

So you really weren't kidding about the Bruce Springsteen "look" I think that would be very cool to have some live music.

We'll see where its gonna take place before I bring it up to the guys. We have a party show the weekend before Halloween but the date set in here doesnt clash with the gig.

I think most of us couldn't agree on a place and time.

But, we can all meet at Chilli's on Mill and University in Tempe at 3:30 PM for an early dinner, then burn off those calories by bowling at AMF Tempe Village Lanes at 4407 S Rural Rd Tempe (just south of the US 60).

Let me know so I can reserve a couple of lanes. If anybody is interested, send me a PM.
