Prescott weather is tops
Hi Jennifer,
My wife and I researched weather.com for the best weather in the US. Southern California is probably the best, but the housing prices are outlandish
We came upon the Prescott area which sits at about 5,000 feet in elevation. The elevation offsets the unbearable heat of the low desert (i.e., Phoenix). The summers here are in the 80's and 90's. The winters are in the 50's (during the day). It snows, but the snow usually does not stick to the roads and it usually melts the same day. We played golf this weekend in shorts and short-sleeves
Sedona is beautiful. The weather is about 7 degrees warmer (since it's lower elevation). The housing prices are almost as high as Southern California though.
Flagstaff was too cold for us. It's about 7,000 feet.

Why not just move to Colorado?
We came upon the Prescott area which sits at about 5,000 feet in elevation. The elevation offsets the unbearable heat of the low desert (i.e., Phoenix). The summers here are in the 80's and 90's. The winters are in the 50's (during the day). It snows, but the snow usually does not stick to the roads and it usually melts the same day. We played golf this weekend in shorts and short-sleeves
