It's the sound of snowbirds getting the heck out of dodge now that the temps have risen!

LOL I was in Havasu and Bullhead yesterday and it appears to be so . The traffic has thinned out and the migratory exodus North has begun.

Used to be in a business that catered to RV owners and we tracked their migration. Most snowbirds leave Florida and Arizona and try to be back to their home state by April 15th or Easter (whatever comes first). Pretty tough to find a snowbird in Arizona after April 1st.

I went to Prescott on Wed., drove through Jerome and over Mingus Mountain. Jerome was PACKED! I thought I was going to have to get a can opener to get me out of there. I finally decided it must be the Snowbird's 'last hurrah' on their way home to wherever. It was still packed when I came back through hours later. If I had been looking for a parking space I'd have been SOL.

I'll never be a Snowbird but I might still, someday, end up driving 35 on I 10. You just never know...
