Illinois to Arizona? (allergies, live in, moving)

Hi I have lived in Illinois all my life(43) and just cant stand the cold, I have health problems and the heat helps, I am a single mom of a ten year old and I am worried if I get sick with no family to help what to do, My mother is old and does help with my son if I am in the hospital however she wont do it any more cause she said she is too old now, I am single and just dont trust men. I am also on social security disability and cant afford much, any feed back would be great, I live in a trailer(no trailer trash here,) thanks..

Illinois, one thing to think about-depending on your relationship with your mother- the last thing you want to hear is a phone call saying something is horribly wrong and you are miles and miles away, also how close is your son to her? If they are close well you know, he needs to be near her. The statement about not trusting men, my dear you just haven't found the right one yet! They are out there! Good luck!

My boyfriend is from IL (Winfield/Wheaton area). His sister lives in Bartlett. That's a nice area too, from what I can tell.

Moving from there to here is a big move, especially with a sick mother to think about and a son. What are your health problems? Sometimes people think AZ helps with certain things, when actually it makes it worse (allergies, asthma, etc.). Good luck with your decision!
