I had to look it up to see where it was. It's out there.

Go to Google and type Littlefield AZ. A map will pop up.

Littlefield is basically nothing more than a dot on the map, and it seems very isolated from the rest of Arizona ... however, its location could be a hot spot for future development because it's on I15 between two growing areas: Mesquite, NV and St. George, UT. The city limits of Mesquite end at the AZ border just 9 miles from Littlefield, and St. George is a rather short distance. With both communities growing & expanding, I would think some of this would eventually spill over into the tiny NW corner of AZ and allow Littlefield to grow & develop more than what it currently is.

I stopped over in Littlefield and Beaver Dam, just off the 15 mile stretch of I-15 that goes through the northeast corner of AZ.

These two towns have an interesting geographic oddity. In order to reach the Mojave County offices in Kingman, you need to drive about 200 miles! Very few, if any towns in the continental USA are located further away from a county seat, especially when you consider that you also need to drive half that distance (about 100 miles) through another state (Nevada) to get to Kingman!

With the Virgin River flowing by, Littlefield has one important thing that many other places in Northern AZ don't have, which is access to water. I saw a mixed bag of homes there, from simple singlewide mobiles to very large compounds. Not sure if the polygamists have a presence there, because some of the large compounds looked like those in Hildale, UT.

There appears to be a fair number of individual vacant lots available. This place is also low elevation, so super hot in summer.
