I haven't seen the episode yet but it sounds really interesting. I wonder if they are going to have a recurring role or if its just a one time thing.

My understanding is that it is a new "reality" series and they probably will be featuring different communities from time to time.

I think It can only be the cities who are using the new cameras that they mount on their heads. They are small cameras the officers wear on their heads their entire shifts which is where they get the name "point of view" I would imagine.
Fort Smith and Cincinnati where the first cities to adopt the new technology.

I just did some googling and It looks like Fort Smith will be in more episodes, only shooting it in two cities, Fort Smith and Cincinnati. I guess they were worried nothing would be happening but:
"The thing we like about Fort Smith is its personality," Stern said. "It has its own style and its own tone. It's a genuine place, and the cops are genuine people. We don't want just process. We want people. It's really working out great."

Apparently they respond to a burglary at an Asian market in the first episode XD. I want to see it, I'll have to figure out how to watch it in Thailand though.
