Ok i am from the little rock area and i am pretty open minded when it comes to gay marriage but i would like to know do you think Arkansas would legalize gay marriage. The reason i say this is because marijuana almost passed in Arkansas and that was a shock so what do you think

wow, first of all no marijuana did not almost pass, medical MJ did and that is totally another thing. Right now, neither would come anywhere close to passing, especially gay marriage. I am sure, sometime in the future it might, but not right now. All you have to do is look at what happened with abortion rights last legislative session to figure out, the state is still way too far to the right to legalize gay marriage. Heck, 5 years ago they voted down a bill that would allow gays to be foster parents. That, later was overturned by the courts, thank goodness.

The states in Red were forced to allow blacks and whites to marry by a supreme court decision in 1967. Those will probably be the last states to allow gay marriage as well, depending on if/when the supreme court would legalize it!

The states in Red were forced to allow blacks and whites to marry by a supreme court decision in 1967. Those will probably be the last states to allow gay marriage as well, depending on if/when the supreme court would legalize it!
