I LIVE in the Middle East most of the year (every year). I speak Hebrew and Arabic. I've known numerous people in the Middle East with whom I've had multiple conversations with. Nearly all the Jews who were deported out of Spain and spent centuries in Africa and ended up as dark skinned as they intermingled with those with dark skin. The ones who ended up with light skin either mingled with Arabs and a minority stayed as true Ladinos. Then you have those who went the other direction and headed for Europe hit Turkey and headed south. They are more Ashkenazi related than Mizrahi related.

Israel gets about $3 billion of AID money from the United States, plus another 12 Billion from other countries....

Are you kidding? Israel is number 2 in the amount of high tech startups in the world (number 1st is USA). There are 7 Nobel prize winners from Israel in the last 20 years. And Israel health care is one of the most advanced in the world. All of it because of the brains. Jewish brains. Money can buy brains, but cannot create them.
