You have horrible recall. A couple of idiots on TV called them freedom fries, but now the story goes that "we were supposed to order freedom fries instead of French fries."
I hate when someone changes history in order to prove a point. How is that different than lying? To imply that the US government ordered/banned (it's hard to know exactly what you're saying you "recalled) it's citizens from use the name French fries is absurd.
