AIT to get US Marine security guards - Taipei Times

Although not formally approved by the White House, the last of the US Marines had been removed in 2004.

The issue is protection for services provided to Americans - China disagrees

Part of the “Taiwan Travel Act” just passed? (HR 535) ?

Xi Jinping should be impeached for his failed diplomatic policy.

China is on the verge of collapse.

dams would have to collapse and famines would have to occur for that to happen.

inequality between the classes would have to increase.

This would cause the communists to lose their mandate from heaven

The vast majority of Chinese people hate the communists more than anyone else, after all, the victims feel the pain most.

The approval rate for Xi Jinping is probably a single digit number, I guess. Personally, I don't know any Chinese citizen who supports Xi.

But Chinese people have near zero influence in politics. Xi is still in office despite of his overwhelming unpopularity.

I predict the communists' regime is going to be around for a long time until it totally collapses. Famines are part of everyday life in North Korea, yet the communists are still in power.

Xi has already messed up with the economy, and he is trying to screw up foreign policies. Maybe the war is right around the corner...

I can't imagine how it could possibly increase any more than its current state.

Let’s just put this into perspective. We’re not talking about a large formation of combat Marines on Taiwan. It’s just a handful of Marines similar to those stationed at American embassies around the world. They have no offensive capability.

Talk about fake news. They are not stationing any military personnels in Taiwan. They are just treating the AIT like an official embassy now.

Why do you think China is on the verge of collapse?

Agreed. As already mentioned, this is known as "fake news." Marines are in most countries around the world protecting embassies. They're cheap security guards for uncle sam (private ones would be more expensive).
