Those places are all generally very suspect (to say the least) of mainland Chinas intentions...

Not even China itself believes this utter nonsense.

Not that I recall, but if your main objective is to attack posters instead of ideas, Im sure you will find it.

It's obvious that China is broadening out as they've been expanding their global portfolio as of late. They're working on a number of large projects across both Africa and Asia.

How things will play out in the long run is anyone's guess.

China has sent many people to live abroad in many countries including the USA, Canada, Australia, France, etc. Among the Chinese living abroad is the vast network of spies sent by the party to infiltrate foreign companies, institutions, and governments. Their spies are excellent at their jobs. Technologies that come from American military and industries are often copied and reproduced in China within months. Yes, Chinese is spoken in many, many countries around the world.

The Japanese are the Germans of Asia, and the Chinese are the Jews....China first needs to develop a safe food chain before they are ready to conquer the world. It's a crying shame that Hong Kong has been just about ruined. I would still do business in Malaysia or ROC way before doing business in PRC.

Related question:

When people emigrate from China, they are usually from a southern area that includes Hong Kong but not Shanghai. Why is that?

By the way, it explains why most Chinese speakers in the US use Cantonese and not Mandarin. Cantonese is more in the south part of China.
